#BeautifulBlouses

I have to preface this post by saying that I am obsessed with blouses and have been for quite some time! I was afraid that after Winter they would be kicked to the proverbial kerb, but seeing the Spring 2013 collections from several designers I've realised that its here to stay! Praise the Lord! Blouses are so versatile, they are easy to go from day to night and can be worn with anything.  I think the main differences is that this season the pieces are a lot more embellished and there is some lace incorporated which I LOVE!! check them out...

Victoria Beckham's Spring collection is fresh, floaty and feminine.  It's a real departure from the Roland Mouret structured pieces we've seen from Beckham in the past and I'm loving it!  The black collared playsuit   is definitely a firm favourite of mine.

How amazing does model of the moment, Miss Delevingne look in Just Cavalli!  I'm not sure if I'll be rocking the leopard print leggings any time soon but I'm loving the print on print trend!

I've got to echo Alicia Keys lyrics when I say that in 2013 these girls are on FIRE...

OK, so I'm going to be honest and say that I know NOTHING about the Super bowl, but OMG the half time performance from Destiny's Child was ridiculously amazing they have literally never looked better! We all knew Destiny's Child would be back with a bang but this was unreal, I love the fact that they were rocking leather and lace on stage, absolutely bang on trend and smouldering!

 

Inspiring women are certainly not in shortage this year as HBO's 'Girls' proves.  These New York girls and young, fresh and doing it for themselves.  Lead characters Hannah, Marnie, Shoshanna and Jessa are all completely different characters with equally different styles. Although they are all different, they are inspirational.  If you have a void left by Sex and the city, then this will certainly fill it and then some!
