OOTD 13

Hey everybody! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend, the weather has been brilliant! I'm loving the sunshine and I'm really excited because we booked a trip to Portsmouth next weekend as a little anniversary treat yaay! So lets hope the weather stays lovely! 

I went shopping in Bristol yesterday and this was what I wore, I bought these jeans a few years ago from Primark and I never wore them because I wasn't brave enough! I'm glad I did though because I think they are so cute! I also wore my trusty River Island blazer and this simple cream H&M blouse.  I love the pastel shades and I think its a really pretty summer outfit! What do you think?

Summer Scents: Jean Paul Gaultier 'Madame'

I have fallen in love and I have to share it with you all!  On a whim last week I picked up this perfume as it was on offer in Superdrug for the bargain price of £22.50 (50ml) and I'm now obsessed with it.  Its official description states that it is a fresh, floral scent that is brilliant, colourful and smooth with notes of orange zest, sparkling rose, musk and cedar wood.  Now, I don't really go by all the technical chat, to me I think its very young, fresh and summery and great for day or night.  Its neither too fruity nor too flowery, its simply a perfect mixture!  I also found that it is very long lasting and a little goes along way, but I think if you've had any Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances before you'll know that this is the case as they are very durable.  If you enjoy feminine fresh fragrances such as Lacoste 'pink' or Chanel 'mademoiselle' then I would very much recommend you give this a try.  This is definitely my fragrance for the summer! 

NOTD #1

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope everyone has had a chilled out day like me.  I'm back home in sunny (not) Scotland for the week and I'm loving every minute of it.  Sorry for the lack of ootd's but I keep forgetting to take pics.  Anyways, I thought I'd pop up a quick 'nail of the day' post in order to show off my new OPI shade.  I got it from the airport because its duty free and I couldn't resist.  I love the names of OPI's nail polish and this one is named 'I eat mainly lobster', it looks more red in the pics but its actually a really nice coral colour with a lovely peralescent shimmer.  I painted my nails of Thusrday night and now three days later they are still virtually perfect so it has serious staying power! 

As I said I'm absolutely loving being back in Edinburgh and I'll definitely be doing some ootd and haul posts soon because I had a lovely girly day with my mum on Saturday, and I got some absolute bargains.  I also went absolutely insane in boots and decided to buy everything in sight!! 

I'm feeling a lot more motivated on the diet front as well which is good because lord knows I need to lose weight if I ever want to put on a bikini this summer!  So, to show my will power tonight instead of having a delicious roast dinner, I had a salad and I actually quite enjoyed it!

OOTD 12

Happy Monday everybody! I worked a lot over the weekend so I was lucky enough to have the day off today! I decided to do a bit of shopping and just have a general wander as it was such a lovely day! I wore this cream blouse which I got in the Primark sale (£5) a few months ago and light grey blazer also from Primark (£22).  I threw on my jeans which I wear 99% of the time (new look £11).  I decided to showcase these cute leopard print pumps which I bought recently in the sale at Treds (£6.99 Bargain!!) I love a bit of leopard print with a simple outfit, its so timeless. 

I'm currently attempting to pack my suitcase as I'm flying to Edinburgh on Thursday and I can't wait to see my Parents and my friends who I haven't seen in ages! I hate when your trying to pack and you know you've got loads of clothes but you can't think of any outfits?! I'm going to have to start writing lists, I'm so disorganised! Anyway I'm too excited to care...only 3 more sleeps!!

OOTD 11

I was in such a bright mood this morning I decided to wear my turquoise tweed jacket (h&m) with this pale pink blouse also h&m! I bought these cute turquoise pumps in the Aldo sale (£19.99) they have little crystals on them and I love them!  I'm clearly becoming a bit of an Aldo obsessive!  I went for a walk to the park and just chilled out today, hence the pic of the very cute squirrel! I've been very naughty with my dieting recently and I had a subway sandwich today which didn't help matters, I literally have no motivation but the summer is fast approaching!  oh well, I certainly wont be starting any diets until Monday so right now I'm eating Ben & Jerry's phish food and watching 'Planes, trains and automobiles' (absolute classic)

OOTD 10

Happy Monday everybody! Unfortunately today started well but ended badly! My poor old Sony laptop died, I'm so gutted its just stopped working!! I've had it for just over two years and I love it! Life without a laptop is literally the most depressing thing ever.  Luckily the BF has lent me his so that I can pop this OOTD post up! This is what I wore yesterday, when I went out meandering, looking in charity shops and sitting in the park eating sandwiches and ice cream - Great Sunday!!!

I got the denim jacket last summer from H&M (£15) and I literally wore it all summer long.  So when I saw the sun peak through the clouds yesterday, I dusted it off and threw it on!  The 'n3v3r mind' t-shirt is also from H&M (£7.99) but its new, I got it last week and I really like it, the colours remind me of Hulk Hogan for some bizarre reason! I wore these simple black cropped jeans from New Look (£12) and these fab new studded shoes from Aldo (£29.99).  If you've ever seen my blog before you'll know that I've also got these studded beauties in cream, so when I saw the tan ones were also in the sale I snapped them up too! My sunglasses were an absolute bargain from Primark (£2), and I love them even though my BF thinks they make me look like a bug! hmmf...what does he know!!!
