#LeatherLust

I've been inspired by the recent pictures of the new season filming of 'Made In Chelsea' plus it doesn't take a lot to be inspired by the leather trend! I love mixing leather with delicate lace and chiffons blouses and then adding a studded bag for that extra edge.  I adore the chicness (is that a word?) of these outfits, plus I'm so happy that pointed court shoes are making a come back! Out with the platform style at last!

#Januaryblues

Ok so January is the most depressing month of the year, its literally a fact! Everybody is skint, we all ate way too much at Christmas and most of us are failing at our ridiculous New years resolutions (I mean realistically how can I give up chocolate) but do not fear it is nearly over! In two short days we are in February, the month of LOVE! Anyway this is a short post specifically to share some morale boosting words of wisdom, for those who, like me, are suffering the January blues...

p.s I went to Prezzo's tonight and ate the world! DIET FAIL :(

Goodnight! x

#ObsessedwithGirls

No, this is not me coming out of the closet! I'm referring to my adoration for HBO's runaway success 'Girls' which is written, directed and stars the amazing Lena Dunham.  Its about a group of girls living in New York, but its not the typical Sex and the City rose tinted portrayal.  Its so true to life, its cringey at times, its hilarious and above all I don't know any female who couldn't identify with at least one of the characters! I love the styling as well, its so fashion forward but not couture unattainable pieces. Anyway I thought I'd post about it because I've been so ill (hungover) all day so I've basically sat and watched the whole first season again! check out the trailer for season 2 below!

So aside from watching 'Girls' and wishing I lived in New York all day, I've also been getting used to this whole blog thing! I'm literally not exaggerating when I say that it's taken me all day to work out how to add the gadget to allow people to subscribe to the blog! As yet I still have no followers but fingers crossed!

So please subscribe and I promise I'll get used to this whole blog thing!

#SnuggleSundays

Well this Weekend has been amazing but where has the time gone and why is my purse so empty now! Today has been the laziest Sunday in a long time and i have LOVED it!

Friday... Went shopping in Bristol, wasn't that impressed but I kind of think its a strange time because all the sale stuff that's left is just dregs and its not quite spring season yet! Although the shops were less than stellar, I have to show you the shoes I wore literally all weekend because I am obsessed with these Aldo beauties!  I got them in the sale whilst in London, they are so comfy and only £31.49. Luckily they are still available online (link below pic)

My Bristol trip was not a complete waste because my trusty make-up obsession led me straight to 'House of Fraser' where I finally succumbed to the delight that is Benefit 'Hoola' bronzer.  Fellow bloggers have been going on about it for ages and supposedly its the UK's most popular bronzer.  I do have to agree that it lives up to the hype, its gives an even glow without being orange or glittery (FYI: glitter should not be worn on the face of anyone older than 15...so offensive) Anyway I'm sure 'Hoola' will be a staple in my make up bag from now on especially because my Mac skin finish powder comes across so pale in photos! Its quite expensive at £23.50 but I think a little goes a long way so it'll last a while. I got mine from here...

I also got the 'House of Fraser' reward card at the till which starts with 250 points on it which is basically £2.50 off my next purchase.  So the more you spend the more points you'll collect! I already have the Debenhams Beauty reward card which gives you 3 points for every pound you spend! I think its a really good idea and I would definitely recommend them both, especially if you have ridiculously extravagant taste in make-up like me!

We went to the Weston Super Mare on Saturday and had a very retro day at the pier enjoying fish & chips, amusements and funfair rides. I also won my first game of pool EVER!

I'm wearing my favourite jumper in this pic which I got from the River Island sale at Christmas for only £12! I love it because its so comfy, easy to throw on and I love the shoulder detail!

I wore my leather shorts on Saturday night with a Cream chiffon blouse and tan boots! I'm so sick of wearing sky high platfrom heels, I like mixing dressy things with casual pieces like brogues and cuban heel boots with dresses!  My leather infatuation is growing by the day, its really becoming a problem lol!  So far I have leather leggings, shorts, jacket, cuffs.  Now I want a leather skater skirt, I've seen the perfect one in Forever 21... and its only £18.75 (BARGAIN)

Anyway that's enough of my leather obsessed life for one day! I will definitely be putting pics of the weekends activities tomorrow but for tonight I must go to bed!

ps: got some amazing earrings that will be going on sale tomorrow I cant wait to upload pics!

Goodbye weekend, I've loved every minute...

#NearlyFridayYaay

It is nearly Friday and I am especially happy because my Best friend is coming to stay this weekend! Can't wait to...
  1. Showcase my new black leather shorts
  2. have lots of drinkies
  3. go shopping
  4. Go to ZaZa Bazaar (the BEST restaurant in Bristol)
  5. go to the pier and have an ice cream sundae
lots of pictures will follow I'm sure!

Oh gosh aside from that there has been my disastrous diet and gym hell! Why oh why is January such a long and disgusting month, all I've seemed to have done is wonder whether eating so much in December was really worth it and if being a red faced sweaty goon at the gym will ever work! I even bought a exercise bike (mainly because it was on sale in Tesco) to try to spur on my 'new healthy way of life' but so far it has simply been my  'new clothes hanger' oops! note to self: Must try harder! Creme Eggs are not your friend!

So I've been making more jewellery today involving Turquoise crosses and some cute beads I got last weekend.  I'm really loving making little cute bracelets which you can wear on their own or stack up to create a rockier, edgier look! I also love mixing soft pearl classic styles with hard metal studs and spikes! Here's some snippets of my stuff...

Can't wait to add more to this collection and I really hope people like what I'm selling! If you want to check it out the link is below...

I have a super early morning picking my friend up from the airport and ill be updating throughout the weekend whilst I'm having fun and most importantly, neglecting the gym!

Happy weekend!
